In 2024, I had the privilege of participating in the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, London—one of the most prestigious annual art events in the world.
After applying several times in the past, it was only last year that I finally succeeded in being selected, following the three rigorous stages of the jury process. My work was placed on the wall of Gallery 2, curated by Royal Academician Hughie O’Donoghue, as part of the exhibition titled “Making Space.”
The joy was even greater knowing that my painting was acquired by a private collection in England and sold during the Private Views. From the delivery of the work all the way from Romania to London, to the moment it found its new home, every step of this journey felt truly unforgettable.
What made the experience even more meaningful was the support I received from my family, who stood by me throughout this challenging but deeply rewarding process.
The 2024 Summer Exhibition remains a memorable milestone in my artistic journey, one that continues to inspire my work today.
